Matchups Viewed through Prior Games

Pick any two FBS teams to see how they match up. WIMfactor analyzes the comparative performances between the two potential opponents in games linked by common competitors. These linked games are shown with each matchup. By analyzing these linked games, WIMfactor can determine which team will have an advantage in the matchup. Of course, teams will at times play above or below their expected performance, which leads to "upsets."

Since WIMfactor relies on on-field performance for its analysis, prior games are needed before results are available. Then, each successive week provides more linked games for analysis making WIMfactor's data more and more reliable. Return often.

WIMfactor focuses on the two teams' comparative performance and naturally incorporates head-to-head and common opponent results as well as strength of schedule. It does not adjust for wins or losses, player injuries, or a game's location.
